The Glory of the Garden will host the kickoff for the event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. The event is designed to give residents a chance to stroll through five private gardens in the area and also have lunch.
Organizers plan to take residents through the variety of landscapes in the region, from mid-country estates to the waterfront.
Tickets are available at www.gecgreenwich.org or by calling (203) 869-9242. They can be picked up at the GEC offices, 130 Bible St., Cos Cob.
